چکیده

Potassium permanganate (KMnO4) and oleic acid (OA) were purchased from Alfa Aesar. Glutathione (GSH), 3-(4,5-dimethylthialzol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT), alpha lipoic acid (ALA), buthionine sulfoximine (BS) and N-ethylmaleimide (NEM) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich. Doxorubicin hydrochloride (DOX) was purchased from Dingguo reagent company (Beijing, China). All buffers were prepared with ultra-pure MilliQ water (resistance >18.2 MΩ cm-1). Other chemicals were used as received without further purification.

Manganese dioxide nanosheets-based redox/pH-responsive drug delivery system for cancer theranostic application

The aim of this study was to construct redox- and pH-responsive degradable manganese dioxide (MnO2) nanosheets for cancer theranostic application. The small MnO2 nanosheets were synthesized, and then functionalized by hyaluronic acid (HA), demonstrating excellent stability and tumor-targeting ability. Cisplatin (cis-diamminedichloroplatinum [CDDP]) was absorbed by the nanosheets through a physi...

Engineered redox-responsive PEG detachment mechanism in PEGylated nano-graphene oxide for intracellular drug delivery.

In biomedical applications, polyethylene glycol (PEG) functionalization has been a major approach to modify nanocarriers such as nano-graphene oxide for particular biological requirements. However, incorporation of a PEG shell poses a significant diffusion barrier that adversely affects the release of the loaded drugs. This study addresses this critical issue by employing a redox-responsive PEG...

A redox-responsive mesoporous silica nanoparticle capped with amphiphilic peptides by self-assembly for cancer targeting drug delivery.

A redox-responsive mesoporous silica nanoparticle (RRMSN) was developed as a drug nanocarrier by noncovalent functionalization of MSNs with amphiphilic peptides containing the RGD ligand. The alkyl chain stearic acid (C18) with a thiol terminal group was anchored on the surface of MSNs via a disulfide bond, and the amphiphilic peptide (AP) C18-DSDSDSDSRGDS was coated by self-assembly through hy...

Redox‐Sensitive Stomatocyte Nanomotors: Destruction and Drug Release in the Presence of Glutathione

The development of artificial nanomotor systems that are stimuli-responsive is still posing many challenges. Herein, we demonstrate the self-assembly of a redox-responsive stomatocyte nanomotor system, which can be used for triggered drug release under biological reducing conditions. The redox sensitivity was introduced by incorporating a disulfide bridge between the hydrophilic poly(ethylene g...
